I look delle influencer durante la Milano Fashion Week

It's them. The undisputed stars of the fashion parading through the streets of Milan: elegant, eccentric, colourful. Influencers, Italian and otherwise, are the most anticipated and talked-about figures of fashion week. We see them arrive at the shows, flaunting the trendiest looks of the moment, previewing the trends of the coming season.

Every fashion week, whether it's Milan or the other fashion capitals, is preceded by weeks of preparation, in which influencers try on and choose the looks they will turn up in. The much-awaited week arrives and, as usual, they show their followers, through stories, the backstage that comes before their public appearance. Once ready, all that's left is to reach the venue, where hundreds of photographers, fans and curious onlookers await their arrival. As in front of a stage, some stop, say hello and let themselves be photographed with their best smile, while others, running late, dash past elusively, challenging the skill of the reporters, who have to be quick to catch the moment and immortalise them.

I photographed some of the looks of the influencers who starred in this Milan Fashion Week 2020/2021. Who they are and what they decided to wear. Pass or fail?

International influencers and fashion bloggers

Leonie Hanne, German influencer, recognisable for her ultra chic, elegant and refined look. She founded her blog Ohhcouture.com in 2014 and has run it since 2015 with her partner. A lover of fashion and lifestyle, with her unmistakable style she has managed to establish herself on the fashion scene, working as a blogger, designer, model and social media consultant.

Xenia Adonts, 26-year-old blogger born in Hamburg. Ambitious, positive and natural. She loves reading and maybe one day she will be the author of a bestseller! Her blog is Xeniaoverdose.com. A sports lover, she lives in Paris and has worked with major brands, including Intimissimi.

We complete the German triangle with Caro Daur, a very young influencer and blogger with her Carodaur.com, where she writes fashion and lifestyle articles that reflect her style and personality. Her growth in the industry has led to major collaborations with brands such as Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Valentino, Adidas… Passionate about fashion since she was a child, within a few years her social channels reached exorbitant numbers. Her success? Authenticity.

Italian influencers

But let's go back to Italy, with the beautiful Giulia Gaudino: positive, sunny, genuine. She opened her eponymous blog in 2014, sharing her life and travels with her followers and giving advice on fashion, beauty and fitness. Honey-coloured hair and green eyes that captivate. The lovely Gaudino has long been a steady couple with Frank Gallucci, also an influencer: the two look very much in love and in tune.

Let's move on to Carlotta Rubaltelli, fashion blogger with a passion for fashion and travel. She has kept her personal blog “Style and Truble” since 2011, where she loves giving advice and being a source of inspiration for her followers. Outgoing and positive, she has been a steady couple for years with Federico Avanzini, well-known fashion photographer.

We carry on with the roundup of influencers who became known through the television programme “Uomini e Donne”: Beatrice Valli has gained thousands of followers on social media over time, becoming one of the best-known Italian influencers, and also works as a model for famous brands; next come Nilufar Addati, Irene Capuano, Giulia Latini and Eleonora Rocchini: they won the hearts of thousands of Italians with their spontaneity and genuineness, so much so that they are still followed after the end of the programme, earning the trust of followers who let themselves be influenced on fashion, makeup and much more.

Last but not least, representing Sicily, Claudia Salvini, an influencer who promotes natural beauty. Sexy, sunny, frank: with her ways she has won over followers who have been with her for years and keep growing. A model for GQ and Playboy, she works with major clothing brands. Her secret is being herself on social media just as in life.
