One year since MYLOOK blog was born… I’M BACK!

It had been a while since I last found myself sitting at my desk with a keyboard in front of me, a blank page to fill, a heart full of emotions and a head exploding with thoughts. Thoughts that had piled up so much that they got tangled and I could no longer unravel them. The pandemic is putting everyone to the test, without exception. My weak spot, as a creative, is above all the mental block.
I create while I observe, while I listen, while I live.
And all of that, over the past year, has decidedly, drastically, overbearingly shrunk.
But anyone who knows me knows I don’t give up easily, and probably wouldn’t even recognise me in the first, melancholy lines of this post. It is no coincidence that, with the determination that is typically me, I am back in action on my BLOG after a long break! I have had time to think, plan, assess, study!
Today, a year ago, I bought my domain. A small piece of the puzzle that still represents my dream today. Excited, enthusiastic, but with quite a few doubts and fears. Well, I certainly didn’t expect that a world pandemic would soon get in the way of my plans. That said, it doesn’t justify my absence. Which is why, lately, I decided to reflect and analyse the situation before moving forward.
And, today, I can happily say… I’M BACK!

Yes, I’m back. Ready to put myself out there 360 degrees. I have asked myself what a blog represents today, what can intrigue readers, why they should care about my thoughts on a subject, and how I can make them feel free to express their opinion, so that I, first and foremost, get feedback, whether negative or positive. I’m not yet sure I have found the answers to these questions, but one thing is certain: simply being myself will be the key that opens the doors to this journey. Knowing that you can’t please everyone, but hoping that an exchange of opinions can bring personal growth to anyone who wants it.
So what will you find in the new MYLOOK? A me who is more present, often with a slightly more personal take on whatever topic I am covering. The themes will be the most varied, linked mainly to the world of Fashion and Photography, but not only! Events, experiences, thoughts, curiosities, people: there will be no shortage of surprises, plot twists, photographs and maybe even new columns! Your feedback will be essential too, so any suggestion is more than welcome! What more can I say? STAY TUNED!
